Subject : A kind request to stop illegal commercial activities of Menoka Banquet Hall, situated at Ward no. 10, under Khardah Municipal area.

Respected Sir,

We, the residents of Ward no. 10, under the Khardah Municipal jurisdiction, would like to draw your kind attention, along with serious interventions from your end, to the above mentioned subject matter, which is causing serious harm not only in terms of environmental damage in an overall basis, but also encouraging hazardous sound pollution, from the time of it’s commercial establishment, with It's harmful operational activities, since last one year.

Menoka Banquet, which was constructed at word no. 10, under the area of Khardah Municipality, is situated in such a location, which is completely surrounded by dense domestic residential houses. This Banquet is used exclusively for all sorts of commercial ceremonial activities like, Marriage occasion, Birthday Celebration, Shraddha etc.

At every ceremonial occasion, it creates a lot of sounds, causing hazardous noise pollution, which not only destroys the peaceful environment of the locality, but also causing severe diversion as well as complete distraction from studies of school & college going students of adjacent houses, which is very much harmful to their concerned academic career.

Apart from that, after every single ceremonial occasion, the people and management involved in operating the Menoka Banquet, dumps the remnant extract of greasy food articles, (which are cooked, but left out as food material waste remains), in near most adjacent drains as stagnant waste materials, for a prolonged period of time, without taking any permission from any of the surrounding house members, causing a serious blockage in the drainage system on a regular basis.

Those left out rotten food remains release extremely foul and obnoxious smell, throughout the entire surrounding domestic area, causing severe environmental pollution by inviting epidemic and communicable diseases, especially health hazards spreading to every single resident of the locality.

For the above mentioned reasons, we are facing a hell lot of difficulties to stay at our own residential houses.

It is also a great surprise for us, that, within a densely populated domestic residential area, how a commercial construction, like Menoka Banquet Hall, has got its approval for such types of illegal commercial activities.

In the light of the above mentioned grievances, It's our humble request to take immediate necessary steps against the illegal commercial activities of Menoka Banquet, to save the surrounding environment from severe pollution to restore the normal healthy atmosphere of our domestic residential area.
