Sub: Prayer for Transfer to Law Cell

Sir,
I have represented Malda District as Revenue Officer ( Manikchak Block under English Bazar Sadar Sub Division ) and participated in the training on Law Matters at Anaysis, Research And Training Institute, Salboni, Paschim Medinipur from 02.05.2017 to 08.05.2017 conducted by Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, West Bengal and have completed the scheduled training successfully.

As I was keenly interested to work at Law Cell and wanted to explore myself on legal matters involving Court Cases in upcoming future, therefore this training will definitely help me a lot in upcoming days, for which I am extremely thankful to my higher authority.

But as I am posted at block level since joining, there is hardly any scope to handle the legal matters or to deal with the Court cases in holistic manner.

At the block level, the main concern is focussed only towards the online disposal of the Mutation cases u/s 50 of W.B.L.R. Act ,1955, as much as one can. This system will not going to help me as a devotee on legal matters from any angle as most of my time has been engulfed and over burdened with the catering needs of the people & ending up with their public demands.

Since my joining as Revenue Officer in this District, I am posted at Manikchak Block for last two & half years (29 months).

Therefore, I personally feel that, providing only mere theoritical knowledge & classes to us will not be so much of sufficient help until and unless we can join the prestigious and higly regarded Law Cell for real life practical exposures.

I shall be highly obliged and grateful to you, if you kindly consider my prayer for transfer to the Law Cell, keeping in view  the rigorous training on law matters, that I have just undergone at A.R.T.I. Salboni, so that I can make effective use of the knowledge imparted by the said training not only but also sufficiently equipped myself to handle legal matters in future with passionate devotion & dedication.
